About the Author
Dr. Anne Gimenez was born and raised in South Texas and ordained at the age of 19. She traveled extensively in evangelistic work before marrying John Gimenez in 1967. In 1968, John and Anne Gimenez founded the Rock Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia as well as a ministry for drug addicts, unwed mothers and the homeless. Anne served for eighteen years as Executive Producer for the nationally televised program, "Rock Alive." John and Anne have pastored the Rock Church in Virginia Beach for 37 years and have started many churches around the world. In 1985, Anne received an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Oral Roberts University. In 1980, 1988, and 1986 Anne worked with her husband, John, who coordinated the "Washington for Jesus" rallies and the "America for Jesus" rally in 2004. In 1999, Anne was named Senior Pastor of the Rock Church International in Virginia Beach with a congregation of over 4,000. The Anne Gimenez Ministries Television program can be seen weekly on Direct TV, Dish Network, NRB Network, WLCB-TV 46 in Florida, WLPC-TV 26 in Detroit, MI., the Christian Television Network, the Total Christian Television Network (TCT), TCT World (Satellite), and most recently on the Daystar Network.
