Sheppard B. Kominars, PhD, began teaching writing in 1956 at Washington College and has enjoyed a long career in higher education, consulting in health and education, and counseling. He has presented workshops at locations that include University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, Kenyon College, Stanford University Complementary Care Center, Kaiser Permanente, Cancer Center of the Desert, Kenyon College, Dignity International, Fifty-Plus for Seniors, Golden Gate Senior Center, The Heritage in S.F., Sequoias Senior Center, All Saints Church, and more.
