About the Author
Memories of her childhood at the New Jersey seashore and vacations with her family in Melbourne Beach, Florida, have influenced Lorraine A. Jay's writing Sea Turtle Journey was inspired one dark summer night when she was surprised on the beach by the nesting sea turtle. There, Lorraine believes she witnessed one of nature's quiet miracles. As a member of the Sea Turtle Preservation Society, Lorraine has attended the annual Symposium on Sea Turtle Biology and Conservation. She lives with her husband, Berniean and their children, Bryan, Michael, and Meghan, in Madison, Connecticut. This is her first children's book.
