Myriam Nafte is a forensic anthropologist and visual artist who continues to volunteer her services for criminal casework in the United States and Canada. She received a Specialized Honors BA in Medical Anthropology from York University, a BEd degree in Science from Brock University, and completed an MA and PhD in Physical Anthropology at McMaster University in 1992 and 2013 respectively. Currently, Nafte is an instructor at McMaster University where she teaches upper-level courses in physical and medical anthropology. She continues to research the use of human remains as material culture, and is currently documenting the rates of STIs in contemporary Western societies as part of a long-term project on the representations of infectious disease. Brian Dalrymple, a former manager of the Ontario Provincial Police Forensic Identification Services, is a pioneer in the use of lasers to detect fingerprints. He also introduced the first police computer image enhancement service in Canada. He lectures and conducts workshops for law enforcement agencies around the world, and he has been honored by the John Dondero Award of the International Association for Identification for ''the most significant and valuable contribution to identification in the previous year,'' the Foster Award from the Canadian Identification Society, and the Lewis Minshall Award for ''outstanding contribution to the fingerprint profession.''
