Synopsis

The Path to Prosperity is a guide to help understand how to find peace and prosperity by changing your attitudes and reactions to life's challenges. "By your own thoughts you make or mar your life, your world, your universe. As you build within by the power of thought, so will your outward life and circumstances shape themselves accordingly." "I looked around upon the world, and saw that it was shadowed by sorrow and scorched by the fierce fires of suffering. And I looked for the cause. I looked around, but could not find it; I looked in books, but could not find it; I looked within, and found there both the cause and the self-made nature of that cause. I looked again, and deeper, and found the remedy." James Allen was a British philosophical writer known for his inspirational books and poetry and as a pioneer of self-help movement. Allen's practical philosophy for successful living has awakened millions to the discovery that "they themselves are makers of themselves". Allen insists that it is within the power of each person to form his own character and create his own happiness.

About this title

From the Back Cover

Relying on the spiritual and practical advice that informed so many of his immensely popular works of self-enlightenment, James Allen--one of the most popular writers in the fields of inspiration at the turn of the 20th century--set out to help readers "find within themselves the source of all success, all happiness, all accomplishment, all truth." A tall order for some, but not for the man who dedicated his life to seeking out precisely these truths.

This is a book for anyone unafraid to look inside themselves for the true key to success.
