Christopher Schlerf was the former Senior Writer for Halo 4 at 343 Industries. Before working with 343 Industries, Christopher Schlerf directed, managed, and produced several short films in the early 2000s. At 343 Industries, Schlerf became the Senior Writer and narrative director for Halo 4. He created the original draft of the game's script and continued to write for the game throughout the development process, alongside the rest of the writing team. He was also the writer of Halo: Escalation until the sixth issue, and the short story Petra included in the 2010 reissue of Halo: First Strike. Chris Schlerf left 343 Industries in November 2013. After Schlerf's departure from 343 Industries, Brian Reed became the Halo franchise's lead writer. Schlerf now works at BioWare on Mass Effect. The author lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
