Synopsis
Gracie Lynne Calloway doesn't dwell on her unknown parentage. As a baby she was found in a coal bucket, and she's grateful for the loving small-town southern folks who've raised her as their own. So it comes as a major shock when, on her 25th birthday, P.I. Sam Fontana informs Gracie that she's a kidnapped heiress about to inherit millions. Lorelle Marinello's Salting Roses is sassy and fun to read as the press descends on Gracie's Alabama town along with some other surprise visitors: relatives. The discovery that they're mostly greedy puts a decided damper on Gracie's otherwise carefree life. But on the bright side, the decision to stay true to herself ultimately brings Gracie something money can't buy....
