About the Author

Robert Frost (1874-1963) was one of the most influential American poets of the twentieth century. Celebrated for his portrayals of rural New England life and his mastery of conversational verse, Frost created poems that combine everyday speech with deep philosophical reflection. Over the course of his career he received four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry and became a central figure in American literary culture.
