About the Author:

Jean Feldman has been actively involved in education for over 40 years as a classroom teacher, instructor of adults, author, and consultant. Dr. Feldman has a BA from the University of Georgia, a D.A.S.T from Emory University, and an MA and PhD from Georgia State University. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the National Kindergarten Alliance, and the International Reading Association.

Holly Karapetkova, daughter of Jean Feldman, has over ten years teaching experience at Georgia State University, University of Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina University, and Marymount University. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Language and Literature at Marymount. Holly received her BA from Rice University, her MFA from Georgia State University, and her PhD from the University of Cincinnati.
