Synopsis
The Straight Path: A Religious Guide to Finding and Fulfilling One's Purpose describes the straight path, and how to walk it, so as to discover one's purpose and fulfil that purpose. It examines the relationship between the soul, the mind and the body, and explains how to strengthen their connection by acting virtuously and avoiding vice.
It describes how to establish a closer connection to God. The Bible, the Quran and other sacred texts have explored the nature of the straight path. The Buddha, Mencius, Mahatma Gandhi and other prophets and philosophers have devoted their lives to walking it. The Straight Path draws upon what they have learned, and adds to their knowledge, by merging their wisdom with modern scientific insights into humanity's evolution.
The Straight Path examines how thought and action shape evolution, and how evolution is a physical, mental and spiritual process of development. It describes how to strengthen one's mind and body, and by doing so, strengthen humanity. It gives direction to those who have lost their way and answers to those who seek greater meaning to their lives.

About the Author
Christian Edward is a teacher and an author. He lives in Melbourne, Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Education, a Post-Graduate Diploma in History, and a Master of Arts Degree in Renaissance History and Philosophy. He currently teaches the Russian and Chinese Revolutions, and Asian History to high school students. He has presented at educational conferences on teaching Asian History, and has written chapters on Ancient Chinese and Medieval Japanese History in several educational textbooks.
