State Fair Italian Sausages

6 to 8 Italian pork Sausage links
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
zesty Italian salad dressing to taste
6 to 8 hot dog buns, split
mustard to taste

In a large saucepan, cover sausages with water. Bring to a boil over high heat; boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain Sausages well; grill over medium heat until browned. Shortly before serving time, place lettuce in a bowl; add just enough dressing to coat lettuce well. To serve, place sausages on buns; garnish with mustard and top with lettuce mixture. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
