MANSPRESSIONS is a timely and hilarious look at the behaviour of men, right from mantrums to manger. Said behaviour has been getting a lot of press recently; there are the mansplainers who talk over you and the manspreaders who invade space on a train by spreading their legs out wide. From the Guardian to The New York Times, the behaviour of men has been getting a lot of (bad) attention. But what makes them act the way they do?
Embracing the new wave of feminism that has spawned kickass YouTube videos and fierce feminist hashtags, MANSPRESSIONS creates a common language for topics that were once difficult to talk about because we lacked the words to do so.

About the Author
Joe Biel is a writer, activist, filmmaker, teacher, and founder of Microcosm Publishing and co-founder of the Portland Zine Symposium. He tours with his flims with the Dinner and Bikes (dinnerandbikes.com) program. He has been featured in the Time Magazine, Publisher’s Weekly, and Utne Reader.
Elly Blue is an author and activist who lives in Portland, Oregon. She writes about the economic and equity cases for bicycle transportation.
