About the Author

After making his living as a working actor, Phillip Carlson turned for the next thirty-two years to the art of discovering and representing young talent for the stage and screen. He created the legit department at Curtis Brown, and he teaches The Business of Showbusiness at the Atlantic Theatre Company. He lives in Manhattan.
