About the Author

ANDREA ROSENBLATT is a Southern California native who was introduced to the world of fundraising and entertaining at age five. Tagging along with her mother at a charity event, Andrea wasn't content to just sit and watch. She grabbed some lollipops off a table and offered them to attendees, asking if they'd like to help lick asthma. She raised more money than anyone else that day! And so began a lifetime of planning fabulous soirees both large and intimate. As an Ambassadear to the Beverly Hills Visitors Bureau, she had a front row seat to the glitterati and the good life. But she also cultivated a passion for entertaining at home, and her parties soon became famous in her circle of friends not only for their creativity and elegance, but also because they were so much fun! Today, Andrea lives in Palm Desert, California, with her husband, two Westies, and a meshugeneh African Grey parrot. She's still throwing those talked-about parties, and she's thrilled to share her advice and tips for planning simple but memorable celebrations with family and friends in her first book, Entertaining Your Way.
