Born and raised in Wakayama, Japan, Shihoko relocated to Australia where she discovered her passion for sharing Japanese recipes. Elizabeth learned Japanese cooking from her mother, and both enjoy using fermented ingredients in their cooking every day. They live in Brisbane, Australia.
