The book analyzes human rights and how this affects human growth and development in general, but particularly it seeks to appreciate how human rights and development have interacted to affect human development on the African continent. Barongo ba Kafuuzi Ateenyi was born and lives in Uganda. He holds a BA in social sciences and a post-graduate diploma in refugee law and forced migration studies from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. In addition, he has a post-graduate diploma in public administration and management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI), Kampala.
