About the Author
Maude Heurtelou is the author of two novels and 30 children's books published by Educa Vision. She has published Fiesta! Haiti, edited by Paul Rosario and published by Grolier in 2004. She has also contributed in the Butterfly Way, 2001, edited by Edwidge Danticat and published by SOHO press; in Teen Life in America, 2004, edited by Cynthia Thompson and Co., and published by ABC CLIO; and in the So Spoke the Earth edited and published by the Women Writers of Haitian Descent, in 2012. Additionally, she is a well known speaker in the area of public health, more specifically in Nutrition. As a Senior Public Health Nutritionist with a master s degree, she has worked for the State of Florida during 25 years and had addressed chronic health issues such as diabetes with children and adults. She is currently Educa Vision Inc s Vice-President.
