About the Author

Laura A. Stivers is professor of ethics at Dominican University of California. She holds a doctorate in Christian ethics and social theory from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. She is co-author (with James Martin-Schramm and Daniel Spencer) of Earth Ethics: A Case Method Approach.

James B. Martin-Schramm is professor of religion and director of the Center for Sustainable Communities at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He is an ordained member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and holds a doctorate in Christian ethics from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. He is author of Climate Justice: Ethics, Energy, and Public Policy.
