Synopsis
Jeffrey Shenero is a professor of microbiology who occasionally serves as a consultant with the health department. An expert in his field, he's blindsided by a lawsuit when he investigates a family's home and fails to find black mold. As he fights to defend his reputation and his livelihood, he becomes embroiled in a national scandal involving a teacher who claims to be the victim of a mold-infested school building -- and encourages her students to do the same. The facts are on Jeff's side. Will they be enough to protect him from the media hype that arouses sympathy for his accusers, or from the "professionals" who stand to gain from their make-believe ailments?
