About the Author:
Timothy H. Cook was born in india to medical missionary parents. From a very young age Tim knew that he was going to become a physician, but that did nothing to deter his other passions in life. In addition to a life in medicine, he has also become an author, as well as a painter, photographer, traveler, naturalist and amateur musicologist.
Being a seventh generation physician, Tim developed an intense interest in the history of medicine. And after a particularly memorable gripe session at a medical conference, he envisioned a medical fantasy which became The Book of Drachma. If you would like a look into what makes him tick, look into the life of one Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, also known (thankfully) as Paracelsus.
