In spite of high conflict within the congregation Rameeka continues to lead and to love the people. Holy Hill Church is a congregation with a rich, strong history. The church has experienced phenomenal leadership with an icon pastor, Hank Hanley, who led the church for sixty years. Rameeka became the pastor who followed Hank immediately after his retirement and subsequent death. The strong majority of the congregation loved Pastor Rameeka, appreciated her leadership and her love for them, but a small group felt differently. The story lifts up the events of church life with the new Pastor while revealing the "buried secrets" of a high profile congregation.

About the Author

Ellen Amy Ryles possesses more than twenty years of pastoral experience.  In addition to her pastoral leadership she has worked in private industry, mental health, social services, and in the field of education.  She has held a passion for writing since elementary school and wrote her first book while in the fourth grade.  Ellen also holds a passion for family and friends.  Family and friends are a first priority for her following her commitment to God.  She grew up in the mainline protestant church, was active for most of her life, and attended seminary with a burning desire to love, lead, and serve God's creation.  Currently Ellen Amy Ryles continues professional service as a church executive, consultant, writer, and guest preacher.  She is co-host of an internet radio program the focuses upon love, forgiveness, and self-awareness. Her dream is to continue writing other books that provide a message to the world about what the church can and should be.
