Synopsis

Tyler Griffin, an associate professor of Ancient Scripture at BYU, strives to offer hope and perspective to those who feel isolated and distant from heaven, especially when those distant feelings are compounded by confusion, frustration, and deep hurts that spread over time. This book seeks to reaffirm and fortify faith in Christ amid the storms of life, and to help readers find a true sense of connection with the almighty God of the universe, who holds worlds without number in His hands, but holds you and your loved ones in His heart.

About the Author
Tyler J. Griffin is an associate teaching professor in Brigham Young University's Department of Ancient Scripture. He joined the BYU faculty in 2010 and loves the opportunity this job gives him to interact with over 1,000 students each semester and to present at Education Week every August. Before coming to BYU, he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering and master's and doctorate degrees in instructional technology. He taught in the seminaries and institutes for fifteen years, where he also trained potential seminary teachers and developed an online home study seminary program. Tyler co-founded and co-directs the BYU VirtualScriptures.org Group, which produces immersive digital learning tools for enhancing scripture study. He and his wife, Kiplin, are the parents of ten children.
