About the Author
Mara Freeman has been a leading writer, teacher, and storyteller of Celtic myth and sacred traditions for more than 30 years. Her book Kindling the Celtic Spirit (HarperSanFrancisco, 2001) has been hailed as the best modern introduction to Celtic spirituality. Freeman leads transformational journeys and retreats to the British Isles and Ireland through her company, Celtic Spirit Journeys. She lives in West Wales, where she spends as much time as possible exploring ancient sites on moorlands and the coast.
