Writing "Break Ground Without Breaking Up" was a daunting task. Because it was my first book, the old cliché "it was a labor of love" truly applied here. Another cliche that helped me a lot was "one day at a time".
For a long time I ignored that inner voice that was nudging me to write. My argument to myself was that I was not a writer, I was an Interior Designer. I lost the conflict; I began to write down true stories of struggles and stressors my couples had while we built or remodeled their homes. I knew I needed solutions to these issues and situations and I had none. God is good, He led me to ask Laura Longville, my good friend, a talented therapist and client to write with me. We fortified, equipped and acquired ourselves with what we needed to get the book to publication. We now have an eye-opening book to help you get ready to build or remodel. The intention of our book is to fortify you and your relationship, equip you with support and resources and help you acquire construction knowledge.
...and it feels so good to offer that. Our book was worth fighting for!
