By weaving together a range of topics, the book takes readers on a journey through the evolution of the Internet, and its next generation--The Spatial Internet--and explores the current technosphere and terminology necessary to comprehend the metaverse.
The author creatively delves into unique social, cultural, technological, economic, and emerging urban phenomena, providing a comprehensive guide to designing and building metaverse urban environments. The author draws upon their knowledge of architecture, urbanism, and spatial design to present the metaverse not as a distant, abstract concept, but as a tangible reality that will revolutionize how we live, work, learn, earn, socialize, and play. It is a seminal work at the intersection of technology, media, urbanism, the future of the built environment, and life as we live it.
