Guided Math is a strategy guide designed to help teachers learn how to engage their classrooms, assess students' problem-solving abilities, utilize small-group and whole-group instructions, manipulatives, math warm-ups, and math workshop to engage students in connecting mathematics to their own lives. Designed by teachers, this educational resource helps teachers stay up-to-date with practical guidance and sample lessons for grade level bands to promote a classroom environment of numeracy and mathematical discourse. This invaluable research provides an environment for mathematics that fosters mathematical thinking and understanding while meeting the needs of all students. An ideal resource for teachers either through the school year or during the summer, but also useful for homeschooling parents looking to easily differentiate between problem-solving tasks of mathematics and meet the demands of today’s educational curriculum.
