About the Author

Raven Howell has had several children's picture books published, and most recently authored My Community, Shimmer/Songs of Night, and A Star Full of Sky. Raven writes poetry for and has artwork in a variety of children's magazines such as Highlights for Children, Ladybug, Babybug, Stinkwaves, Fun for Kidz, Cricket, Spider, Hello Highlights, High Five and Humpty Dumpty. Her work is included in anthologies, DVD's and CD's and she's received several literary awards. When not actively writing, she enjoys presenting children's writing workshops. Raven serves as Creative and Publishing Advisor to RedClover Reader.
