This true story will take the reader on a scary ride through the trials and tribulations of a card cheater on the run.
Las Vegas is a gambling mecca that lures in tourists from all over the world, each trying to win money at their favorite casino game. The game of Blackjack or "21" is played by more tourists than any other casino game. Jerry Reedy, the author of this true story, was introduced to a group of blackjack players shortly after he got out of college. This group of country boys from the northwest was led by one man named Steve Kammeyer (the Boss). The Boss developed a system in blackjack based on knowing what the dealer's hole card was. This type of activity is absolutely forbidden in Las Vegas, but this group was tough to detour.

Heat in the Vegas Night is my first book. It is a nonfiction Action/Adventure story that I actually lived through. The story is of sensitive nature to the casino world as it reveals a method of cheating at black jack that has never been heard of before. The book was written in 1993, but because of the nature of the book, releasing it before now would have been dangerous to my health, it may still be. I am now 61 years old and I don't care anymore about the consequences. The book is an inside story of a group of young men from the Pacific Northwest that took Vegas for Millions with a method unmatched by anyone in history. We claim to be the best blackjack players to ever take a large sum of money from Las Vegas.
Jerry Reedy
The Author came from divorced parents, an early demise of his mother at 17 years old and finished high school without parents. Earned a scholarship and went on to play college baseball all four years.Wanted to play professional baseball but made a decision to except a job offer playing blackjack for a living. The author was a very wild eyed young man and excelled in the challenges put before him. A highly aggressive young white male that refused to live at the lower class level in which he was raised. The story that he got himself into became the best card playing crew that Las Vegas has ever seen.
