About the Author

Dr.Terplan received his M.D. from the University of Buffalo. He retired from private practice in 2013 and was Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He has chaired graduate courses in Geriatrics, sat on Geriatric editorial boards, and has published widely. Dr. Terplan is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He lives in Northern California.
