Synopsis

Holly Montgomery had settled into her post-coma routine and was enjoying a much needed peaceful home-life with Earl and the kids when things began to stir inside her. Her position at the Denver branch of the FBI forensic lab was done more or less by rote and posed no real challenge to her skills. Her life had begun to just drift by, that is until an unscheduled roadside stop changed things. Holly's life turned in an instant, and as if my fate, a meeting with her lab supervisor started her on an adventure that would fulfill her repressed wishes. Those wishes were to be more like coma-Holly that lab assistant Holly. And so, as a request from the Sacramento branch of the FBI, she departed on a trip that would take her from Colorado to the beautiful Delta shores of California and from the local police department to unwinding a series of murders with an Aztec Gods underscore. Along the way making friends with some the FBI's best field operatives the agency had to offer, friendlier more with some that others. Follow along as Holly and friends wind their way through one murder victim and assailant after another and start putting the pieces together until they are confronted with the mega-company behind it all and put her and her colleagues in peril. As each new victim is discovered another Aztec God is displayed and only with the help of a Stanford scholar's assistance will it start to make sense. Holly is the third in the trilogy of Holly Montgomery written by Don Scribner. Previous works include: Jury of One and Execution by Proxy. Don had also published many works in the children's genre following the adventures of two buddies into a never-never world of fantasies. His children's books are written to appeal to kids from early pre-reading ages to an older age group of 8-10 years of age.
