My novella, "Love's Beacon", is set at the famous Round Island Lighthouse which marks the entryway to beautiful Mackinac Island, Michigan. Included in this novella are characters from some of my other Barbour novellas including my Romantic Times Book Reviews Top Pick My Heart Belongs on Mackinac Island: Maude's Mooring. My heroine, Valerie Fillman, has experienced devastation but God can surely restore her -- although in the unlikeliest place that she would have planned, a place she never intended to return to, the Round Island Lighthouse. ~~~Carrie Fancett Pagels
