Synopsis
കഥ (Fiction) വായിക്കുകയോ എഴുതുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നതു പോലെയല്ല കവിതയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ എന്നു തോന്നാറുണ്ട്, മിക്കപ്പോഴും. സാധാരണവും ചിരപരിചിതവുമായ നടത്തങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ നിന്ന് വിടുതൽ കൊള്ളുന്ന, അതീതമായ ഒന്നിലേക്ക് എന്നെ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആശ്ചര്യകരമായ സന്ദർഭങ്ങളാണ് എനിക്ക് കവിത. കവിത (poetry)എഴുതുമ്പോഴും വായിക്കുമ്പോഴും അത്തരം സന്ദർഭങ്ങൾ, ശകലങ്ങളായെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടായിത്തീരുന്നതാണ് ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഭാഷയെ തുന്നിവെക്കുന്നതിന്റെ കാരണവും. എനിക്ക് പരിചയമില്ലാത്ത ഒരാൾ എന്നിൽ നിന്നിറങ്ങി എനിക്കപരിചിതമായ എന്തോ പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടതു പോലെ ഗൂഢമായ ജിജ്ഞാസയാൽ, ആശ്ചര്യത്താൽ ആ വരിയിൽ ഏറെ നേരം, ഏറെക്കാലങ്ങൾ തന്നെ, ഞാൻ തങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്നു.
