Rebekah Phillips was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) at age three months. Doctors said she would not live past age thirteen since CF is a progressive and incurable disease. However, Rebekah was determined to live a full life and share her testimony about God. She was active in school and was a high school cheerleader and co-captain of the dance/drill team. Rebekah is a college graduate with a degree in early-childhood education. In 2018, Rebekah’s lung functions were dangerously low. She had a double lung transplant with numerous complications and spent thirty-three days in ICU and a total of six weeks in the hospital. This book describes the events leading to Rebekah’s decision to have a double lung transplant and gives information about the hospitalization afterwards. It has over 60 Scriptures to help anyone struggling with any life issue. It has chapters dealing with; Hospitalization Tips for patients, visitors and caregivers, How to be a Donor, How to Contact Donor Family, and CF Foundation and Organization Information. Rebekah has six published books. Also, she has an article published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Tough Times, Tough People: 101 Stories about Overcoming Challenges titled “Living Well with God and CF” on pages 380-381. She has several published books including; TOUGH Words for a Tough World: Practical Advice from Proverbs and A Breath with God; My Battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She co-wrote books with Marilyn Phillips titled: PRINCESS, 101 Devotions for Christian Cheerleaders of America, and What a MIGHTY GOD! All books are available on amazon.com.
