    Previously, Dr. Wang was Vice President, Quality &Regulatory Affairs, for Sundance Enterprises, Inc., a leader of pressure ulcerprevention and therapy devices; Vice President, Quality and RegulatoryCompliance, for Aramark Healthcare Technologies; Vice President, QualityAssurance and Regulatory Affairs, for MEDIQ/PRN; Visiting Scientist at theNational Institutes of Health; Secretary of Health's Special Advisor on MedicalEquipment in Sao Paulo state, Brazil.  Dr. Wang was also an AdjunctProfessor at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Associate Professor at theState University of Campinas, Brazil.
    Dr.Wang isa fellow of the American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) and AmericanInstitute of Medical & Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and a member ofHealth Technology Technical Advisory Group of the World Health Organization(WHO).  He is also a member of the Underwriters' Laboratory's Standards TechnicalPanel 60601-1.  He received the 2010 AAMI Clinical/Biomedical EngineeringAchievement Award, the 2015 ACCE Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2019AAMI-TRIMEDX John Hughes Iconoclast Award.He was inducted to the Clinical Engineering Hall of Fame by ACCE in2017.
    He earned a Doctor of Science (ScD) degree from the MassachusettsInstitute of Technology (MIT) and is Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE).
