Synopsis

It is the day of the 2005 General Election. Zara Schlegel goes to the help of a man who has been assaulted on the streets of Newcastle; she doesn’t expect to be drawn into the life of a man who has not only lost his memory but whose whole identity is a complete mystery. Zara’s loyalty is tested and Laura and Jonathan again become powerless, as the action moves towards a climax in which more surprising facts about Andrew eventually emerge. The reader is kept guessing right until the end.
