He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has had extensive program management training with General Electric and Lockheed Martin. During his career he managed projects that saved millions of dollars consolidating IT infrastructure services, delivered multi-million-dollar technology projects to provide new services, including construction and information security projects. In addition, he developed and set up a Program Management Office (PMO) that was used to deliver over $30,000,000 in new infrastructure services for Lockheed Martin annually. He is certified in Information Systems Security and the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) discipline. He developed training programs for Information Technology teams to deliver services using LSS in addition to managing projects using his Five Simple Checklists approach.

About the Author

Prior to starting his consulting company,  Stephen was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Global Training and Logistics Business that was a Lockheed Martin Company in Orlando Florida.  In his role as CIO, he brought broad based design leadership to support implementations of new and emerging technologies.  

During his career at Lockheed Martin, he managed complex projects that delivered results across engineering, information technology, manufacturing, quality and sales organizations. He's distilled that experience into 5 Simple Checklists that can be used to deliver outstanding results for any project manager.  He's provided consulting services to a number of different companies in a variety of industries.  A sample of some of the companies he's provided consulting services for are:
