About the Author

Cathy Acampora works for the Plymouth County 4-H program teaching children dog safety and dog training and ownership in schools, libraries and public forums.  She has been running a 4-H dog club for 12 years and has a degree in Animal Science and Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont.

She spent 9 years as the senior zookeeper at the Franklin Park Zoo Children's Zoo teaching about animals, conservation and behavior.
