About the Author

Angelica Ribeiro is the author of Running into Happiness: How My Happiness Habit Journal Created Lasting Happiness in the Midst of a Crazy-busy Semester.

She holds a master's degree in multicultural education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has worked with English learners and preservice teachers in the United States and Brazil for over seventeen years.

Currently a PhD candidate at Texas A&M University, Ribeiro studies curriculum and instruction with a focus on English as a second language. She also works as a professor in higher-education and helps others benefit from her happiness research. She lives in Houston, Texas.
