About the Author

A USCG Master, Alex Rooker has owned a variety of power and sail boats. In addition to his experience on the water, his foundation for writing the book includes: -a UNC-Chapel Hill business school degree; -Certificate In Management Accounting from the National Association of Accountants (membership now inactive); - having taught advertising and accounting courses at King's College in Raleigh, NC; -Sales & management for three corporations over 17 years; and -private real estate brokerage and advisory services that continue- though minor now that Yacht A Fun is the focus.
