Synopsis

About the Author

Victor Appleton has usually meant several people each writing a few books in a Tom Swift series. However, in the case of this particular series it is all one person with a great desire to keep Tom Swift alive and to write better (and a bit longer—well, double the length of the original TS novels) books than ever previously been available. Want to picture the author? Think distinguished but prematurely gray hair, slightly long moustache, light, piercing blue eyes and the sort of body he only can have nightmares about. Not actually overweight, he is nonetheless a little spongy around the middle. But, lovable in the same way the Pillsbury Dough Boy was in the old days when they used stop motion photography and not CGI imaging. He lives in the Pacific Northwest where as he writes this is is closing in on a second 100° day in a row. He dislikes 100° days whether they are in a row or singly.
