Peri has an Associate of Arts degree from Grace Bible College in Wyoming, Mich. She operated a licensed daycare in her home for 23 years and worked for several years as a community news reporter for the Advance Newspaper, now part of the MLive.com media group. She has written about her childhood abuse experiences in the hope of inspiring other girls in similar situations to take hold of hope and healing for the future.
