Along the way, he traveled across the USA several times and lived through two World Wars and the Great Depression. Family stories tell about Earl's involvement with Chicago politics in the the 1920's, his relationship with several famous personalities and the normal, daily routines of life at the time. Illustrated with old documents and more than 200 period photographs.
