About the Author
Amanda Jackson Green is a storyteller, editor, and communications professional. Her lifelong love of writing began in third grade, when she wrote her first book about celebrating the differences in her mixed-race family. She lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and two sweet pups.

These short books are easy to read and a plethora of colorful photos help readers connect with the text. VERDICT A well-written and beautiful series that brings life to the fight for Black rights.
