Tunnel of Time was a 2012 NaNoWriMo project, which means it took me exactly 30 days to write this novel. NaNoWriMo stands for NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth which happens every November. According to the rules, you write 50,000 words in the month of November, and to keep you honest, upload them for a word count at the end of each day. It's an amazing feat for me, since I have a very busy 'day job' that gets even busier in summer and holidays, including Thanksgiving.Writing the first draft was just the beginning, or course, there were several. I belong to a writers group that listened, critiqued, and gave me lots of encouragement. After I finished my final draft, I hired an editor, and what do you know? Yep, more revisions. Although Tunnel of Time is a complete work of fiction, Gracie, Lizzie and Reba Dee got their characteristics from my three oldest grandchildren, and they seemed to come alive on the page to me throughout the whole writing process. I've been told by readers that the relationship between these sisters is one others only dream of, and that's exactly what I was aiming for with each word, because the 'real live' girls share the same bond.I hope you enjoy Tunnel of Time and will leave a review on Amazon or other places. About the Author

Jeannie Chambers lives in a small resort town in the mountains of western North Carolina. She partners with her husband as a real estate broker and vacation rental manager, but when she looks in the mirror, she sees a mother, grandmother, dog whisperer, time traveler and much more. Her parents told her more than once, "You can go anywhere in the world you want, any time you want, just by reading a book." Her sense of direction is a little off, but she doesn't mind getting lost if it's in a good story.
