About the Author

Rob G. Adams, is an author and motivational speaker from Brandon, Florida where he grew up until his early teens before moving to Virginia where he attended high school and college.

During his youth and young adult life, he developed a love for sports particularly in the areas of basketball and baseball. His mother played a key role in Rob's development and encouraged him to keep God first. Being raised in a single parent home allowed Rob to experience firsthand the true meaning of responsibility. 

As a freshman in college, Rob was living the college dream by being away from home and attending college parties. Soon, he would be faced with tackling medical treatments and making routine doctor visits from an unexpected diagnosis of cancer!

To most, fighting cancer would appear to be a setback but Rob decided to see it as a setup for something greater. After enduring nearly 6 months of intense medical treatments, he received the report of being completely cancer free and he continues to walk in his total healing. 

In 2012, Rob returned to college and finished what he started, earning his B.S. in business and is now involved in public speaking and inspiring others to move past setbacks and develop a mindset to win. Rob believes that to win at life, you must first learn to win from within!
