Synopsis

After another collision, Jade gets pinned between a rock and the raft, and Rico is also jolted from the float and ends up in the water. Savi has no choice but to cut the raft loose. Soon stranded, the foursome is in a remote wilderness with meager provisions. The area is rife with wild animals, snakes, and a vicious flesh-eating predator known as Vexel. Nobody is sure what kind of animal Vexel is because no one who has encountered him has ever survived. Now the disoriented teens must find their way to Camp Arrowhead with the clock ticking and Vexel stalking them. About the Author

Gary Rodriguez is an "Amazon Best Selling Author" who lives in California. He is president of LeaderMetrix Inc., a consulting company that specializes in senior-level executive coaching, organizational development, and conflict resolution. 
Previously, he worked in the radio business as a senior executive and one of the original station managers of Infinity Broadcasting. Following a successful radio career he became the president of a non-profit organization for a season. 
As a young man, he spent a tour of duty in the U.S. Army where he was recognized as the youngest Drill Instructor in the Army's history at age 18 years. Most notably, he was awarded the Silver Star (the nation's third highest award for valor) while serving in a combat zone.
Over the past few years, he has written three non-fiction books and then decided to write a novel. 
Gary's first book, Purpose-Centered Public Speaking, was published in 2009 followed by a companion workbook designed to help people implement the principles taught in his first book. Next, he wrote Overcoming The Fear Of Public Speaking. And this year, he penned his first novel, Stranded In The Wild, which was published in September 2018.
