About the Author
Jennifer Johnston-Jones, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder and executive director of Roots & Wings Institute for Personal Growth and Family Excellence. She's helped countless families transform their lives through her therapy practice, work in hospitals and non-profits as well as her speaking engagements for parents, clinicians and educators. She has worked with the world's most prestigious companies and organizations including executives from Facebook, Summit Series, MTV, UCLA, and various startup founders & CEOs. She's been featured in media such as Fast Company, Enterprising Women, Success, ABC, NBC, Fox News, and the LA Times, to name a few. She received her psychology education from American Psychological Association Accredited University of Oregon and Alliant University; as well as training from the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, St. John's Hospital, the Children's Collective, the County of San Bernardino Behavioral Health, and the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. Dr. Johnston-Jones lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and two children.
