Synopsis

The November 2021 edition of Structure, Function, Integration has authors answering the question: “What Is Integration?” Ida P. Rolf, PhD, taught that the human body has an intrinsic organic wholeness, that doing manual interventions and offering movement education can facilitate the body’s organization in gravity. When a body stands, breathes, and moves as an integrated whole, we see the intrinsic grace of lift as well as grounding through the feet around what Rolf termed the ‘Line’.
