Review

Reading "On The Way..." allowed me to look over the shoulder of a family journeying through the end of life process. The book reminded me of the practical as well as the emotional aspect of being a caregiver or family member. As someone who just lost her dad after a several month decline and who is losing a sibling to another terminal illness, I'm often wondering Where Is God In All This? (WIGIAT) I appreciate the author's honesty about the difficulty going through this process. And for me, it is still difficult at times to see the WIGIAT but I am comforted by the Pastor Pam's reminder through her personal stories and Bible reflections that it's ok that I don't always know or feel God's presence.
