Hallelujah sheds light on the thoughts and experiences of those who are often forgotten in the struggle with mental illness -- the supporters. Hallelujah acquaints readers with an anguish as well as a hope that is both relatable and real as they discover the ups and downs of emotional hardship. What started out as Suarez's way of coping with the downfall of a relationship and the deterioration of a dear friend's mental health, turned into a powerful, yet vulnerable tale of love, loss, recovery, and peace.
